Jack Abernathy presented the Ladies of Charity Food Pantry with a $1,500 donation to this year’s Share the Harvest Program. The Sportsman’s Club has pledged to make this an annual donation to support the continued success of the Share the Harvest program in Perry County. Donations are needed to offset a percentage of the processing fees not covered by the Missouri Dept of Conservation/Conservation Federation of Missouri. Last year, over 5,000 pounds of ground venison were processed and given out countywide to needy families.
